The Site
Sequence Park undertook an extensive site assessment within the West London Availability Zones and the proposed site was chosen as the best location due to its proximity to Uxbridge Moor Substation, the fibre network and the burgeoning digital innovation cluster in West Drayton

The site is located to the immediate south of Uxbridge Moor Substation with Slough Road (A4007) separating it. Uxbridge Moor Substation consists of National Grid 400/275kV substations and Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) 132/66kV substations. It is one of the few grid supply points capable of providing power at the required 132kV for the project.
A strong fibre connection is critical for the Data Centre and the Sequence Park site is located next to several fibre routes running underneath the Slough Road
As the site is only 10 metres from the substation, the connecting cables will be out of sight leaving the community and surrounding land undisturbed
The site has good transport links as it is located to the east of the M25, in the area between the A40 to the north and M4
The site was historically used as a landfill for waste disposal meaning the site is unsightly and in poor condition
The proposed site, located within the Innovate UK cluster in West Drayton, will enhance the area's standing as a leading hub for digital innovation
Location
By locating a hyper-scale Data Centre in Buckinghamshire this will further embed West London as a leading innovation cluster attracting investment and high skilled jobs to the area
Vision for the Park
Sequence Park has been carefully designed to minimise its impact on the local landscape while maximising its positive contributions to the economy and community
The majority of the site will be turned into a newly landscaped park that will include wildflower planting to increase the local biodiversity
Local residents will have easy access to the new park via the upgraded Public Right of Way, designed for both pedestrians and cyclists
